Are These Fillers? What's The Difference?
Botox and other neuromodulators relax muscles. The weakened muscles no longer contract and don’t crinkle the skin into wrinkles. Fillers, on the other hand, add volume to the area under the skin. By volumizing a deflated or underdeveloped area, we can contour the face to decrease the shadows that make us look tired, lift the skin back up to its original position, and rejuvenate a droopy or flat structure

Neuromodulators
(onabotulinumtoxin A) by Allergan (the same company that makes Juvederm, Voluma, and Latisse) first earned Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval for medical use in 1989. It has since received cosmetic FDA approval for use in frown lines (glabellar lines) and crow’s feet (peri-orbital rhytids). Onset of results is usually about 7-10 days after injection into targeted muscles. Some patients have more sensitive muscles and respond to fewer units, while others such as most men, may require higher doses to achieve the same results.
(abobotulinumtoxin A) by Galderma (the same company that makes Restylane, Restylane Silk, Restylane Lyft/Perlane, and Sculptra) was approved by the FDA in 2009. Each unit of Botox is equivalent to 2.5 to 3 units of Dysport in efficacy.
This does not mean that one is stronger than the other, only that the units of measurement differ. One of the most notable differences between Dysport and Botox is that Dysport has a quicker onset of result (3 days compared to Botox which is 7 days), and it diffused further surrounding the injection site
(prabotulinumtoxinA-xvfs) Jeuveau is a first product of its kind, made up of a purified botulinum toxin. Jeuveau was recently approved by the FDA in February of 2019. It helps to improve the appearance of moderate to severe wrinkles and glabellar “frown” lines. Visible results in 5-7 days, and full correction around 2 weeks. Jeuveau is the first product of its kind that is exclusively dedicated to aesthetics, but competitive brands such as Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin are also effective. Some individuals prefer a certain brand based on their own personal experience.
(incobotulinumtoxin A) by Merz (same company that makes Radiesse and Belotero) was approved by the FDA in 2010. Its units of measurement are exactly like Botox. In other words, one unit of Xeomin is equivalent in effect to one unit of Botox.

RADIESSE® are dermal fillers that are used for smoothing moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds (the creases that extend from the corner of your nose to the corner of your mouth). RADIESSE® is also used for correcting volume loss in the back of the hands.
Sculptra® Aesthetic is a FDA-approved injectable that helps gradually replace lost collagen — an underlying cause of facial aging. Sculptra ® Aesthetic is different than other liqui and gel fillers .
