Acne Reduction Treatments (IPL Photofacial)

Venus Versa is equipped with Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) technology that delivers simultaneous pulses of blue and red light for the treatment of acne vulgaris. Sometimes referred to as an IPL Photofacial, red light pulses treat existing acne-related inflammation and promote healing by stimulating the skin’s natural cell renewal cycle, while blue light pulses target and eliminate acne-causing Propionibacterium Acnes (P. Acnes) bacteria, treating current acne breakouts and preventing future breakouts all in one easy treatment solution. It is also equipped with SmartPulse™ and a real-time cooling system for greater patient comfort and safety.

If you're still struggling with acne breakouts, you're not alone. Acne is among the most common skin conditions in the world, affecting up to 50 million people each year in the United States alone. Research shows that up to 50% of adults aged 20 to 40 suffer from low-grade acne and oily skin. We can effectively target both the cause and visible symptoms of acne-related skin conditions.

Heal existing acne-related inflammation, while also destroying acne-causing bacteria to minimize future breakouts.

How Does An IPL Photofacial Acne Treatment Work?

Acne treatments use dual lights to effectively heal existing inflammation caused by acne while simultaneously eliminating acne-causing bacteria, thereby minimizing the likelihood of future breakouts. Sometimes referred to as an IPL photofacial for acne, acne treatments result in noticeably smoother, healthier-looking skin.
